Hello dolls!

It's ViVi here to give you all a review on Spa World located in Centerville, VA.  For all of you Americans, this is an exotic getaway just around the corner.  For all of you Korean natives, this is a piece of home away from home!

Spa World is a traditional Korean spa that is renowned for it's therapeutic bade pools, hot tubs, chill baths, saunas, cold rooms, massages, body scrubs, and other salon services.  It's very affordable for any budget!  For access to the saunas and poultice room it's $35.  When you pay, you are issued a uniform to be worn in the unisex areas, and you lock your shoes up since no shoes are allowed to be worn in the spa.  From that point on, men and women are separated into locker rooms.


There is a women's only bade pool and spa area, and a men's only bade pool and spa area.  In these areas no clothes are permitted.  That's right, mandatory nudity!  At first I thought it was a bit embarrassing, but there are all body types, and no one gasps when you bare it all.  It feels kind of liberating to be comfortable in your own skin.  The bade pool is a large heated mineral bath that has various massaging water jets that relax the muscles in your shoulders, back, legs, and arms.  Cleanliness is a priority, so before you enter the bade pool, sauna, or hot tub, you must first take a real shower.  I got the body scrub with RiRi where they exfoliate you head to toe…literally.  I'm still shiny from it, but I swear my lady sanded all of my skin off haha!  It hurt, so if you're super sensitive you might want to stick to the massage.


The poultice room is a unisex area where people can lounge and relax.  Uniforms are mandatory in this area.  There is a snack bar that sells smoothies, drinks, ramen, and other yummies.  There is also a full service restaurant that sells sushi and traditional Korean dishes.  I ordered the bulgolgi and it was deeeelicious!  The poultice room is a great place to spend time with significant others, and there are saunas where guys and girls can get quality relaxation time in together.  They have wifi so I brought my laptop and homework.  Since Spa World is 24 hours, there is no rush and you simply lose track of time there!

So overall I had a great time with RiRi.  We made it a double date, but even though both of the boys were part Asian, they still complained about the male nudity and not being able to have private time with us.  (Pervs!)  I think its a great couple atmosphere, but if the guy is expecting nude jacuzzi time with you then he's going to be highly disappointed.  Couples can eat together, watch movies, surf the web, do yoga, nap, and relax in saunas together.  I will definitely be going back to Spa World either with a female friend or a date!
