Left My Heart In Tokyo

Hello everyone!

It's ViVi and I just want to thank everyone for checking out our page.  RiRi and I have always dreamed of Japan and loved their culture, even long before we met.  Our aspirations to go to Japan are deeper than just some dream vacation.

I am starting a non-profit company that will design custom fashion lines to promote charitable causes.  One of the causes I'd like to promote is continued disaster relief from the nuclear meltdown in Japan earlier this year.  It seems like whenever the news moves on to something else, so does everyone else, but there are still needs in Japan to be met.  I also want to explore Japanese fashion as inspiration for some of the clothing lines.  Their styles are just way too cute, and I absolutely adore the way they embrace femininity and innocence!

Currently I do cancer research for a mid-sized company associated with John Hopkins.  I absolutely love everything about my job and the hope that we give our patients and their loved ones.  I believe that spending some time in Japan studying and interning for a biotech-pharma company will give me valuable experience to bring back to the States to improve public health.

Then of course I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to go to Japan for the shopping, Tokyo Disney, sightseeing, and amazing restaurants!
